Rostec has announced the launch of mass production of mobile electrical substations developed with the participation of RT-Project Technologies.

The systems are mounted on wheeled platforms, including high-mobility trailers. The equipment is designed to provide consumers with electricity without load restrictions during scheduled maintenance of stationary facilities, as well as to rapidly restore power supply in the event of damage.

The mobile substations make it possible to restore electricity supply immediately upon arrival at the site. The systems are adapted for operation in various climatic conditions and support different voltage classes.

Rostec notes that the use of such systems is particularly relevant for regions facing the risk of large-scale power outages resulting from drone attacks. According to specialists’ estimates, having two to four mobile substations available in a region could cover emergency electricity demand.
