Kazakhstan’s Special Forces Take First Place at UAE SWAT Challenge
The "Sunkar" team from Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs has claimed victory in the overall ranking at the prestigious UAE SWAT Challenge, delivering the best results among the world's elite special forces. The tournament, held in Dubai, brings together teams from over 80 countries.
Kazakhstan Leads the Global Special Forces Arena
In addition to "Sunkar", three more Kazakh teams made it into the top 10:
- "Arystan",
- "Sardar",
- "Arlan".
This achievement demonstrates Kazakhstan's high level of training and its strong presence in the global security landscape.
Kazakhstan’s Representation at UAE SWAT Challenge
This year, Kazakhstan sent 12 teams, including units from:
- National Security,
- State Guard,
- Police.
A historic milestone was marked by the participation of the women's special forces team "Tomiris", competing in the tournament for the first time.

This competition is considered the world’s premier event for elite tactical units, where teams compete in combat skills, tactical execution, and rapid response.
