At the summit in Astana, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko urged the SCO countries to take steps to reduce dependence on the dollar, emphasizing the need for action on the part of the leading leaders of China and Russia.
"We have two powerful leaders in our organization, China and Russia. And we are all dependent on this dollar. Let us finally take steps to reduce our dependence on the dollar. You will see that those who are using the dollar as a means of pressure will become frightened and realize that this can no longer continue. We all realize this, but we don't act. And people are waiting!" - said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the summit in Astana.
