U.S. Congresswoman Accuses Washington of Imposed Support for “Israel”
U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized Washington’s long-standing policy of unconditional support for the Zionist regime, stating that accusations of antisemitism are used as a tool to silence those who demand that government funds be directed toward the needs of Americans themselves.
Greene openly opposed the idea that U.S. aid to “Israel” must be mandatory. She noted that this position had been shaped for decades by mass media and religious organizations, which convinced citizens that supporting “Israel” was the only way to receive God’s blessing and approval. According to her, this narrative does not reflect the true interests of the American people and merely serves to justify ongoing foreign military expenditures.
The congresswoman stated that her refusal to support new aid packages for the Zionist regime sparked a coordinated online campaign against her, including bot attacks and disinformation efforts allegedly financed by organizations linked to “Israel.” She said the goal of these actions was to intimidate critics and prevent discussions about the reallocation of U.S. budget funds.
Greene emphasized that calls to reassess foreign policy priorities have nothing to do with hostility toward the Jewish people. She argued that accusations of antisemitism are being weaponized to suppress dissent and protect the administration’s political line. According to her, American citizens increasingly demand that taxpayer money be used for domestic priorities such as healthcare, education, and family support, rather than foreign wars.
Her statement sparked wide public debate in the United States, where an increasing number of politicians are questioning funding for “Israel’s” military operations and demanding transparency in federal spending. Greene reaffirmed her intention to continue defending national interests and the right of Americans to stay out of foreign conflicts.
