DOCUMENTS FROM PSC IN SHYMKENT AVAILABLE 24/7
In Shymkent, a system has been introduced allowing residents to collect ready documents from the Public Service Center through an automated postamat. The service operates 24 hours a day, including weekends and public holidays, according to the State Corporation “Government for Citizens.”
The postamat enables citizens to independently retrieve prepared documents from individual lockers. Once the document is ready, an SMS message with a personal code to open the locker is sent to the applicant’s phone number. Biometric identification is also required.
Currently, one postamat operates in the city. It is located at 13A Zhangeldin Street. Through the automated point, ready documents for 19 types of public services can be obtained. These include duplicate birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates, archival certificates, as well as duplicate school diplomas and academic certificates.
To use the service, applicants must select the postamat option when submitting their request at the Public Service Center and provide consent. After receiving the SMS notification, the document must be collected within three days. If not retrieved within this period, it will be issued through a PSC specialist under the standard procedure.
In 2026, the fee for receiving documents via postamat is 518 tenge. According to the State Corporation, the service expands access to public services and allows residents to collect documents at a convenient time regardless of PSC working hours.
