Hamas Declares Readiness for Negotiations
The Hamas movement has declared its readiness to immediately sit down at the negotiating table to discuss the issue of releasing all prisoners. The condition is an official and clear statement about the end of hostilities, the complete withdrawal of occupying forces from the Gaza Strip, and the creation of an independent Palestinian committee, which should immediately begin managing the region.
Representatives of the movement emphasized that the creation of such a committee must take place immediately after reaching agreements. According to them, this structure will ensure the functioning of civil institutions and carry out tasks to restore normal life in Gaza.
Hamas also stressed the need to obtain public and unequivocal guarantees from the Israeli side. In the movement’s view, such guarantees must eliminate the possibility of repeating past cases where previously concluded agreements were not implemented or were subsequently rolled back.
The Hamas statement became another signal of the movement’s willingness to discuss ways out of the current conflict. It emphasizes that any agreements can only be implemented if they are fully recognized and practically enforced.
