Russia and Iran Formalize Strategic Partnership at the Legislative Level
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law ratifying the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran. The document enshrines the key principles of cooperation between the two countries amid external pressure.
According to the treaty, if one party is attacked, the other party pledges not to assist the aggressor. It also includes a commitment by Moscow and Tehran to refrain from joining any third-party sanctions against each other.
