Storm Hits the Suburbs of Paris

A powerful storm struck the suburbs of the French capital, causing significant damage and disrupting infrastructure. The northern suburb of Ermont was hit the hardest, where hurricane-force winds toppled construction cranes and damaged residential and administrative buildings. According to utility services, numerous reports have been received about damage to power lines and vehicles.

The storm system passed through several districts of Paris and its surrounding areas, bringing strong winds and brief heavy rainfall. In some parts of the city, public transportation was temporarily suspended due to fallen trees and power outages.

Meteorologists warn that the bad weather may persist in the region over the next 24 hours. Authorities are urging residents to take precautions and avoid leaving their homes unless absolutely necessary.
