King Abdullah II of Jordan held talks with representatives of the Turkish government as part of a security summit in Amman. The Turkish delegation included Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, and the head of the National Intelligence Organization, İbrahim Kalın.
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Jordanian King Abdullah II held talks, resulting in the signing of 15 bilateral agreements. The leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation in trade, energy, transport, pharmaceuticals, education, and culture. They also discussed nuclear energy development, the Trans-Caspian transport route, and Middle Eastern security issues.

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets to condemn the occupation, criticize actions by the Palestinian Authority against resistance fighters, and decry international inaction over the Gaza tragedy. Protesters called for severing diplomatic ties with Israel and urged the international community to fulfill its obligations to protect the Palestinian people.
