Sudan rejected US mediation due to UAE participation in the Quartet
The head of Sudan’s Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan refused to accept the US ceasefire plan, calling it unacceptable due to the UAE’s inclusion among the mediators. Sudan accused the Emirates of supporting RSF rebels and stated that such a negotiation format is impossible.
