Almaty Resident Detained for Selling a “Spy” Pen

A 42-year-old resident of Almaty is facing criminal charges for selling a pen with a hidden recording device. He managed to sell one device and was about to sell another before being caught. Under Kazakh law, he could face a fine or up to two years in prison.
