Israel Mobilizes Reservists: Preparing for Prolonged Conflict
The Israel Defense Forces have announced a large-scale mobilization of reservists in response to the sharp escalation of conflict with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The mobilization affects strategic areas including the Air Force, military intelligence, logistics units, as well as the Northern and Central Commands.
Air Force units have been prioritized for reinforcement due to ongoing strikes on key military sites in Iran. Special attention is given to elite squadrons involved in precision operations and to ground technical units ensuring aircraft readiness.
The Home Front Command has been activated to prepare emergency response infrastructure and coordinate logistical support in the event of further conflict expansion. This includes mobilizing medical personnel, forming food reserves, and organizing the civil defense system.
Military intelligence is granted authority for emergency collection and analysis of operational data on movements and activity of IRGC forces and allied groups in Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. This involves a multilayered threat-tracking system and preparation for potential retaliatory strikes.
The Northern Command is preparing to strengthen defenses along the Lebanese border, where Hezbollah units operate, while the Central Command focuses on ensuring security in Jerusalem and adjacent areas where outbreaks of violence and provocations are likely.
Mobilization follows pre-approved plans, and within hours thousands of reservists began arriving at designated assembly points. According to command orders, they will be reassigned based on combat specialization, experience, and operational needs.
Amid the growing threat of full-scale war, Israeli authorities are enhancing domestic security measures. Missile defense systems are activated, patrols increased, and shelters and bunkers are being inspected. All emergency response services are on high alert.
The scale of mobilization indicates Israel's preparation for a prolonged confrontation. Authorities in Tel Aviv do not rule out new preemptive strikes on enemy targets and infrastructure. At the same time, it is emphasized that Israel’s actions aim to prevent further regional destabilization and to protect national security.
