The US administration announced the termination of funding for the Ukrainian conflict, highlighting that Washington cannot provide endless support for arms supplies. Despite ongoing shipments of NATO-standard weapons, the White House stated that the available resources are limited and that further strategy requires a political settlement.

According to the White House, the decision to end funding for the Ukrainian conflict was made by US President Donald Trump, who considers it necessary to accelerate the transition to a diplomatic solution. The American administration notes that arms deliveries to Ukraine continue, including the dispatch or sale of significant quantities of NATO-standard weapons, but such measures cannot be sustained indefinitely. White House representatives stated that under current conditions, the priority is to achieve agreements capable of stopping the conflict and reducing pressure on US resources.

Washington also emphasized that there are currently no plans for a meeting between the US President and Volodymyr Zelensky. The American side continues work on the final version of the peace plan, but several points still require coordination. The White House stated that this plan must consider Russia’s position, as its implementation is impossible without Moscow’s approval.

The United States expects Russia to agree to the proposed settlement framework. Administration representatives noted that the peace plan is being developed taking into account realistic political conditions and the need to end the conflict as soon as possible. It is stressed that Washington understands Moscow’s key role in achieving a stable ceasefire.

According to American officials, the administration’s actions are aimed at ending the conflict through diplomatic steps. Work on the final provisions continues, and the White House expects the document to become a basis for future negotiations.
