From April 23, 2024, when registering cars in specialized centers of the country, owners will need to provide notarized sales contracts. At the same time, the requirement for the written form of the transaction is canceled. The information was transmitted by the altn.news portal, referring to “Government for Citizens.”

According to information received from the state corporation, these changes are aimed at increasing the transparency of government services. If citizens do not want to notarize the purchase and sale agreement to re-register the car, they will be given the opportunity to do this online through banking applications.

The initiative was developed by the Administrative Police Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is rooted in the current legislation on road traffic. As part of the reforms carried out, 53 changes were made, which passed public discussions, anti-corruption checks and were approved by the public council and the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
