"Ansarullah" Imposes Sanctions on US Oil Companies
The Ansarullah movement announced sanctions against 13 US oil corporations, their executives, and two vessels. The decision was made in response to Washington’s actions and violations of the oil export ban.
The Yemeni Resistance movement Ansarullah, through the Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center (HOCC), announced the introduction of tough measures against several major American oil companies. The sanctions targeted 13 corporations, 9 of their executives, as well as two vessels involved in oil transportation.
Among the corporations affected by the restrictions are ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, and Valero. Personal sanctions were imposed on the heads of these companies, including Darren Woods (ExxonMobil), Michael Wirth (Chevron), Ryan Lance (ConocoPhillips), Gregory Garrison (Phillips 66), and Michael Hauk (Valero).
The sanctioned vessels also include SEAWAYS SAN SABA and SEAWAYS BRAZOS. The statement emphasized that they violated the existing ban on oil exports from the US and are now officially considered to be involved in the conflict.
According to HOCC representatives, the companies systematically violated the imposed restrictions and continued to participate in oil supplies despite the prohibitions. It is stressed that the new measures are a direct response to Washington’s actions and are meant to send a clear signal of Ansarullah’s readiness to defend Yemen’s interests by any means necessary.
Thus, sanctions against corporations and vessels mark a new stage of confrontation, in which the Yemeni movement seeks to use economic pressure mechanisms in addition to military methods. This step may affect the functioning of global energy markets and increase political tensions surrounding the conflict.
