Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has announced that the country has achieved victory in its armed confrontation with Israel. The official statement noted that Tel Aviv was forced to recognize its defeat and unilaterally cease aggressive actions. According to Iranian authorities, the military and political conditions developed in such a way that Israel could no longer sustain its offensive operations.

The Iranian government views the reached ceasefire agreement as a result of its firm stance and military resilience. The Security Council emphasized that Israel’s actions were halted under pressure from Tehran’s retaliatory measures. The Council’s representatives added that Iran remains ready to respond to any attempt to resume aggression, even after the ceasefire has taken effect.

According to the statement, Iranian armed forces maintained control over the country’s territory and demonstrated their ability to repel attacks and deliver countermeasures. It claims that forcing Israel to agree to a ceasefire was made possible through the “decisive actions” of all structures involved in defense and strategic response. Iran considers the cessation of hostilities as confirmation of the effectiveness of its military strategy.

The Israeli side has yet to comment on the statement by Iran’s Security Council. Previously, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the conclusion of military operations, stating that Israel had achieved its objectives, including neutralizing the nuclear threat. Against this backdrop, conflicting assessments of the conflict's outcomes continue to circulate within the political circles of both countries.

The ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel took effect following a period of intense hostilities. The terms of the truce have not been officially disclosed, but both parties ceased attacks on enemy targets. International organizations and regional countries have called for the preservation of the ceasefire and prevention of renewed escalation.

Iran’s Security Council also emphasized that despite the implementation of the agreement, the country's armed forces would remain on high alert. Iran maintains its right to defend itself against any threats and insists on international recognition of its position in the conflict. Tehran considers the current phase as the conclusion of the active stage of the conflict, with an emphasis now shifting to political and diplomatic processes.
