Khamenei: Iran Will Not Surrender, Will Strike Back at US
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei declared that the country will not back down to the US and is ready to deliver a crushing response to any military intervention.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, in a special address to the nation and the international community, stated that Iran will not surrender to US pressure and is prepared for any escalation. His statement was a direct response to increasing US military activity in the region and Washington’s support for Israeli strikes on Iranian territory.
Khamenei emphasized that Iran "will stand firm" and will not allow foreign interference in its internal affairs. “We will not let anyone impose their will on us. America must understand: every act of aggression will be met with a response that leaves scars for decades,” declared the leader of the Islamic Republic.
According to Khamenei, the actions of the US and Israel violate not only international law but also fundamental principles of sovereignty. He stressed that Iran does not seek war but will defend its land, its people, and its honor. “The US is making a strategic mistake thinking our nation will be intimidated. We are not Iraq, not Afghanistan, and not Libya. We are Iran,” he said.
He also indicated that Iran’s response would not be limited to military means. The country is considering its full range of tools — from diplomatic pressure to missile capabilities and strengthening alliances in the region. “If we are attacked, the response will be comprehensive. We will strike where the enemy least expects, and it will be a lesson they will not forget,” he added.
In light of recent attacks on Iranian military and nuclear facilities, Khamenei noted that Iran’s patience has limits. He expressed condolences to the families of those killed and urged national unity. “Every drop of martyr’s blood strengthens our spirit and resolve. We are not alone — truth is on our side, and so is God,” he said.
The speech was followed by an emergency session of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, where potential responses were discussed. According to Iranian media, a plan of action has been approved in case of further aggression from the US or Israel.
Following these remarks, the Pentagon increased its military presence in the Persian Gulf, activated air defense systems, and raised readiness at bases in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. In turn, Iranian forces were placed on high alert, with missile units moved into active standby.
