U.S. President Donald Trump made a sharp statement during a National Republican Congressional Committee meeting. According to him, several countries targeted by American tariffs are now seeking negotiations for their removal and are showing willingness to make concessions.

"I'm telling you, these countries are calling us, kissing my ass. 'Please, sir, make a deal. I'll do anything. Anything you want, sir,'" Trump declared in his characteristic manner, emphasizing that the U.S. tariff policy is already having an impact.

Amid rising trade tensions, Washington has imposed new tariffs of up to 104% on Chinese goods and increased pressure on several other countries. The White House maintains that the main goal of these measures is to secure fair and mutually beneficial trade agreements while protecting American industries.

In recent days, as trade disputes escalate, global financial markets have shown high volatility, and major economies are discussing potential retaliatory actions. Despite this, Trump insists that his strategy is effective and that the U.S. holds a strong negotiating position.

Experts note that while such rhetoric may increase political tension, it could also serve as leverage in trade talks.
