Trump stated the need to hold elections in Ukraine

Donald Trump stated that Ukraine should hold presidential elections, since the cancellation of the electoral process in the conditions of the ongoing conflict raises questions about compliance with the principles of democratic structure. He reported that the Ukrainian authorities continue to postpone the elections against the background of hostilities, which, according to him, leads to a delay in political procedures that are important for governance of the state.
