A meeting between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the United States Donald Trump took place in Washington. During the negotiations, the parties signed a package of agreements aimed at expanding strategic partnership and deepening economic cooperation between the two states. The agreements include the development of joint projects in the extraction and processing of rare earth metals, as well as the introduction of advanced technologies in artificial intelligence, water management, and sustainable development.

The Fund for the Revival and Development of Uzbekistan and the American company Re Element Technologies announced the launch of joint programs aimed at creating new production capacities and promoting research initiatives. Special attention is given to introducing innovative solutions for efficient water resource management and adapting artificial intelligence technologies to industrial and educational needs.

President Mirziyoyev stated that the signed agreements open a new chapter in bilateral relations, emphasizing their mutual benefits and long-term prospects. He expressed confidence that cooperation with the United States will accelerate economic modernization and enhance Uzbekistan’s competitiveness in global markets.

During the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev described U.S. President Donald Trump as a “President of Peace,” noting his efforts to reduce international tensions and promote global initiatives aimed at strengthening stability and security. According to the Uzbek leader, the current stage of relations between Tashkent and Washington is among the most dynamic in the history of bilateral cooperation.

Donald Trump, in turn, emphasized that the United States considers Uzbekistan a reliable partner in Central Asia and intends to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in key areas, including energy, technology, and education. He noted the significant progress of economic reforms implemented by Tashkent and expressed readiness to support them through American investment and scientific programs.

The signed agreements provide for the development of long-term partnerships between state institutions, private companies, and research organizations of both countries. The implementation of these arrangements will increase the efficiency of resource use, stimulate export-oriented industries, and expand the exchange of knowledge and technology.

Both sides expressed readiness to continue political dialogue and agreed to hold further high-level meetings to assess the implementation of the signed documents. At the conclusion of the meeting, the presidents reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening peace, regional stability, and sustainable economic development.
