Venezuela Warns of Consequences of U.S. Aggression
Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez stated that the U.S. military presence in the Caribbean Sea is aimed at regime change and resource seizure. She stressed that an attack on Venezuela would ignite all of South America.
Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez delivered a strong statement against the actions of the United States, accusing Washington of preparing aggression against Caracas. According to her, the U.S. military presence in the Caribbean Sea has nothing to do with regional security and is solely aimed at regime change and the seizure of the country’s natural resources.
Rodríguez emphasized that after the failure of its sanctions policy, the U.S. decided to resort to military threats. She declared that “any aggression against Venezuela will cause an upheaval that South America has never known.” According to her, the consequences of such a move would extend beyond national borders and become a challenge for the entire continent.
The Vice President also rejected accusations against President Nicolás Maduro of involvement in drug trafficking, calling them a farce and a propaganda tool. Rodríguez pointed out that the true goal of the United States is to establish control over Venezuela’s oil, which remains one of the largest energy bases in the world.
Meanwhile, President Nicolás Maduro announced large-scale defense measures. He reported the deployment of 25,000 troops on the country’s coastline and along the border with Colombia. In addition, the “Independence-200” plan was activated, providing a set of measures to ensure security and repel possible aggression.
Amid these events, mass rallies were held in Venezuela. Thousands of citizens took to the streets, declaring their readiness to defend the country from external pressure. Demonstrators raised slogans against imperialism and in support of the government, emphasizing that the nation would not allow foreign powers to impose their will.
