Zionist Regime Prepares Ground for Attack on the “Samud” Flotilla

The Zionist regime is taking new steps to discredit the international “Samud” flotilla, which is heading to the shores of Palestine on a humanitarian mission. The foreign minister of the occupying entity declared that “documents” had been found in Gaza allegedly linking the flotilla’s organizers to the Hamas movement.

The published materials include a 2021 letter from martyr Ismail Haniyeh and a list of activists. In official statements, Tel Aviv claims that the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA) operates as a Hamas structure and is connected to organizing “Samud.”

However, the organizers of the mission strongly rejected these accusations. Flotilla representative Maria Elena Delia stated that the publication of such “evidence” is propagandist in nature and requires independent verification. According to her, the goal of the flotilla is purely humanitarian: delivering aid to the people of Gaza suffering under blockade and destruction.

Experts note that this rhetoric by the Zionist regime is a well-worn tactic. For years, Tel Aviv has justified strikes on schools, hospitals, and residential buildings in Gaza by citing alleged “links” to Hamas, turning propaganda into a tool for legitimizing war crimes. Now the same scheme is being applied against the “Samud” flotilla.

Observers fear that these accusations may serve as preparation for a forceful scenario. Attempting to portray the mission’s participants as “terrorists” could give the Zionist regime a pretext to attack the ships carrying humanitarian aid.

At a time when the international community is closely monitoring the progress of “Samud,” such a step would provoke a serious international scandal and further deepen Tel Aviv’s isolation. Despite the propaganda, the flotilla’s mission remains a symbol of peaceful resistance and solidarity with the Palestinian people.
