Addinol Increased Its Profit in Russia Fivefold Since 2023
German lubricant manufacturer Addinol expanded its supplies to Russia after the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, participating in 19 government procurements since March 2023.
German company Addinol, specializing in the production of lubricants and cooling fluids, has significantly increased its product deliveries to Russia since March 2023. During this period, it was listed as a supplier in at least nineteen state procurement entries. The company's customers included various Russian government institutions, including the Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Penitentiary Service. As a result, the company’s profits from its Russian operations grew fivefold compared to previous periods.
It was found that prior to 2022, Addinol’s products were also supplied to enterprises within Russia's defense-industrial complex. However, after that point, information on relevant contracts was classified. Despite the lack of public information regarding continued cooperation with military entities, the documented state procurements confirm the company’s ongoing presence in the Russian market.
Addinol's increased activity in Russia occurs against the backdrop of international sanctions imposed by the European Union and other countries in response to the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine.
