At the Peace Summit held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, the final ceasefire agreement for the Gaza Strip was signed. The document solidified the commitments between Egypt, Qatar, the United States, and Turkey, marking the conclusion of weeks of negotiations aimed at establishing a stable truce between Israel and the Hamas movement.

According to the agreement, the parties pledged to immediately cease all hostilities, open humanitarian corridors, and begin rebuilding Gaza’s destroyed infrastructure under international supervision.

U.S. President Donald Trump, who participated in the negotiations, stated after the signing:

“Today we proved that diplomacy can stop the bloodshed. There will be no World War III.”

The American leader emphasized that this peace process would become “the beginning of a new era in the Middle East,” and that the United States would serve as the guarantor of the agreement’s implementation.

Qatar and Turkey confirmed their readiness to provide financial and technical support for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, while Egypt pledged to ensure security at the Rafah crossing and oversee the delivery of humanitarian aid.

International observers welcomed the signing of the agreement, noting that it could become the most significant step toward peace in the Middle East in recent years. For the first time in a long while, all key regional mediators acted in unison and with U.S. support.

Analysts note that this diplomatic success has strengthened Washington’s position as the main mediator in resolving the Middle East conflict and confirmed the growing influence of Ankara and Doha as new centers of regional power.
