Netanyahu continues strikes on Lebanon and Gaza despite the ceasefire
The Zionist regime continues attacks on Lebanon and the Gaza Strip despite the current ceasefire. Residential areas have again come under strikes, and the number of dead and wounded among civilians is increasing.
The prime minister of the Zionist regime stated that strikes against Lebanon and the Gaza Strip will continue despite the ceasefire agreement. At a cabinet meeting he acknowledged that attacks are being carried out in several directions and that the actions of the armed forces would remain unchanged. The statements are accompanied by reports of new destruction and casualties among the civilian population. International structures record growing tension and warn of risks of an expanding conflict.
According to services in Lebanon new strikes were recorded in densely populated areas of the southern part of the capital where a residential building was destroyed and casualties were confirmed. Medical workers report a large number of wounded and a continuous influx of victims. The situation is worsening due to damage to infrastructure facilities and complications in the work of emergency services. During the period of the ceasefire the number of deaths continues to rise.
In the Gaza Strip regular violations of the agreements are recorded. Civil structures report frequent strikes in residential neighborhoods and a significant number of civilian casualties. Homes and infrastructure elements have been destroyed which complicates the humanitarian situation. Since the beginning of the ceasefire a large number of dead and wounded has been registered and these figures continue to increase every day.
International organizations note that strikes on civilian areas contradict international law and undermine attempts at settlement. Representatives of the structures emphasize the need to comply with the ceasefire agreements and consider what is happening a threat to regional stability. Strikes on densely populated areas increase the risk of conflict expansion and create additional obstacles to diplomatic initiatives.
Analysts believe that the persistent tension complicates diplomatic processes and leads to increased pressure on international institutions. According to their assessment the lack of progress in stopping the attacks may cause further deterioration of the humanitarian situation and increased instability. Despite statements by international structures the situation remains difficult and continues to worsen.
In the near future new statements are expected from international organizations that continue to monitor events in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. However at the moment the strikes continue and the statements of the leadership of the Zionist regime indicate an intention to continue the military campaign. The question of compliance with the agreements remains open and the situation maintains a high level of tension.
