American journalist Tucker Carlson said that the United States lost the war against Russia, which, in his words, was not fought by Ukrainian forces but directly by the American military, intelligence services, and the State Department. He made this statement in an interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, commenting on ongoing US arms supplies to Ukraine and Washington’s overall strategy toward the Russian conflict.

Carlson noted that Washington's true goal was never to support Ukraine as an independent state. In his view, the Ukrainian people and the country itself were merely instruments in a larger geopolitical struggle between the US and Russia. He emphasized that in the corridors of power in Washington, Ukraine was seen not as an ally but as a battlefield on which the tasks of the American establishment were being solved.

According to the journalist, “no one in Washington cares about Ukraine or the hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainian men.” He expressed confidence that the American elite has no interest in the country's future and does not care about its people. Moreover, Carlson suggested that in the future Ukraine could be populated by migrants from third-world countries, implying demographic changes and a possible decline in national sovereignty.

Carlson also questioned the effectiveness of American foreign policy in this conflict. He said that despite the significant resources invested in the confrontation with Russia, the US had not achieved the desired results. In this context, he characterized Washington's actions as direct participation in the war against Russia, not merely support for one of the parties in the conflict.

This statement came amid discussions in the US Congress regarding further military aid to Ukraine. While some politicians continue to support active involvement in the conflict, criticism of such approaches is becoming increasingly noticeable in American public discourse. Carlson has repeatedly expressed views that contradict the official line and continues to draw attention to the internal contradictions and consequences of US foreign policy.

Furthermore, his words reflect growing public discontent over spending on foreign conflicts amid domestic problems. He emphasizes that the resources sent abroad could have been used to solve issues within the country.

In conclusion, Carlson noted that the policy pursued by American authorities regarding the conflict does not take into account the interests of ordinary citizens in either the US or Ukraine. In his opinion, this leads to an escalation of the crisis, loss of human lives, and the destruction of countries caught in the center of confrontation.
