Trump: “I respect Erdoğan and told Netanyahu”

U.S. President Donald Trump made several statements on major international issues in his recent address. He emphasized his "great relationship" with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and expressed respect for him, noting that “the media hates it.”
Trump said he shared this view with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “I told Netanyahu that I respect Erdoğan. If he has issues with him — he should resolve them.” He added that “Erdoğan is very strong and smart. He has done things no one else could,” and called on Israel to “act wisely” in resolving disputes with Turkey.
Regarding the conflict in Gaza, Trump said: “I want the war in Gaza to end. We’re doing everything possible to reach a new ceasefire agreement and secure the release of hostages.”
Trump also highlighted direct talks with Iran and an upcoming high-level meeting scheduled for this Saturday. “We hope for success in negotiations with Iran to prevent it from acquiring nuclear weapons.
